The First Tours?

So, did anybody in this whole WOWAY forum go to the first tours from The First Tour to The Stupid Tour? What was the whole experience like?

I'm pretty sure Bermuda and Al were there.

Well, a friend of mine saw Al open for the Monkees.

They do happen to be members of this forum. Also, I don't know of anyone who is a regular here who went to any of the early tours. I think even Dave and Fred only go back as far as the Bad Hair Tour (I think.) So, while I was mostly joking, I think that they're the only members who were there.

I know we have several members who where fans back in the AORTB days, but I don't think they saw any of the tours.

Kaztaylor saw the In 3D tour. I know she's mentioned it and she met Al afterwards, but I don't think she gave us a detailed spoiler.

I remember a friend of mine saw Al in Idaho or Ohio or some such place in the mid-80s and boy, was I jealous! She said it was awesome, of course! That was when Al was kickin' it OLD SCHOOL!

That would be my first Al tour as well, although I was actually there to see the Monkees. Finding out Al was going to be the opening act was more of a pleasant surprise of a bonus.

I go back to the Off The Deep End Tour. I think Fred does also, but I'm not 100% sure on that.
