Man, that review makes me want to see him even more. I'm seeing him in concert on July 11th at the Mid Hudson Civic Center. Man, i'm sick of waiting.

I wouldn't have minded the geek description so much if they hadn't mentioned "Those guys you would never go out with, blah, blah, blah, because they were, well, so geeky." I think the word was overused a tad. I don't blame you for going into Mama Bear mode, Bobbi.

Has marriage and fatherhood tempted you to become less "Weird"?

It may have the opposite effect on me. People were saying, "Oh, Al's having a kid, he's going to get soft. He's going to get middle-of-the-road and dopey and Disney squeaky-clean" or whatever, and so part of me, while writing this album, was going, "I'll show them who's middle-of-the-road!" Some of the

songs were a little bit edgier

that was good! it makes sense! I can just see him there writing.......muttering to himself "middle of the road.....HA....MORE INNUENDOS!"

I like that article. THough, sometimes a bit confusing because they don't clear up who's the interviewer and who's the interviewee with answers.

I don't smash any watermelons

I don't know why, but that just cracked me up. Imagine him saying that while doing "that" face that he made during the Headline News interview.

So, has anyone ever been to one of those Al shows with the puppet heads?

No, but we can hope, can't we? Does the Nirvana cup count as a "squirty thing?"

Well if you were at the June 4, 1996, London, Ontario show then, yeah.

And I was at a show where the Lemon Tree people showed Al one of their puppets. I think it was a rendition of TSB Al. and Al was commenting to them how they'd have to change the puppet because it had a mustache and glasses.
