Autographed Oddities

Post by Clyde the Viking »

So, what's the weird stuff people have gotten signed by Al or The Band?

As for me, when he played at Carowinds during Touring With Scissors I spotted him in the park (lucky guy, VIP, gets to go up the exit and ride without a line) and got him to sign a pair of underwear briefs I brought for him to sign after the show.

Good thing I spotted him, he didn't stay for after the show.

Also, I got Larry Weaver (opening act) to sign the underwear too.

This time I need to get something really weird for him to sign.

I did a Google search for Al pictures a couple years ago and came up with a pic of a CD copy of John Lennon and Yoko Ono's Two Virgins album signed by Al.....disturbing.

Only problem with having an autographed body part is you could never sell it.

Or wait...

What has Al signed for me? Hmmm, a toy drill (from my AlCon performance), a snorkel, a plastic lemon, and a spork for the odd categories.

Only normal thing has been that backstage pass.

I made a replica of myself in sock puppet/doll form complete with miniature Al-Team shirt and Al-Team badge so that it could travel with various Al-Gals to concerts that I couldn't go to... Since I have curly red/brown hair, it does too and when Al saw it at first he thought it was supposed to be him, til they explained who it was.. so he signed ..me!
