This now makes me wonder just how many artist get their names misspelled.
That's one thing, now as often as it happens to Al is another.

Although it would probably be easier on his family life.
Now why would a regular gig in Branson be easier on Al's family life when his family lives in Hollywood? I would certainly think that Al's presence would be an asset to his domestic arrangements.
Let's see... they could rename the Greek Theater the Yugoslavian-Italian-English Polka Theater and just install Al there permanently. Yeah, that works for me.

Well, because poodles are so portable. Al could do a wonderful show, and still be home in time for dinner. Of course, that would mean that everyone would have to move... so maybe a once-in-a-while tour is a better idea.

I was in a... okay, a hardware store again... and saw a couple shopping with the advice and consultation of their teacup poodle (even smaller than Bela). I stopped to admire the poodle, and then showed the couple (and the poodle) the cover of "Poodle Hat" (why am I carrying it around with me constantly in my purse? )and told them I actually had the chance to meet the poodle in question. They liked the photo, and thought Bela's pink sneakers at the signing sounded cute.

Venue web sites and tickets are rarely good resources for any information. It's not uncommon for a venue to spell Al's name wrong, to spell song titles wrong, or to refer to Al as a leading country-western artist.
I recently had to straighten out my venue....they not only spelled his name wrong....they had the date wrong! They sent me a VERY nice thank you note....
Sarah
of course free tickets would have been nice
