To Which Songs Should the Strings Be Attached?

Almost time for a Strings Attached Subforum... (if subforums can still be created. Does this forum still work?)

What songs do you think would be brought into the setlist knowing there will be a full orchestra accompanying the band?

Jackson Park Express, Don't Download This Song, and even Stop Forwarding That Crap To Me seem pretty likely since the band just learned them. Some other options - Grapefruit Diet, Your Horoscope For Today, Pancreas, Hardware Store (even if it's a totally new orchestral arrangement), This Is The Life. Spy Hard would be amazing, and (I never thought I'd say this but) Jurassic Park should totally be performed in full!

Any others come to mind right away? There are plenty of songs I'd like to see, but I am asking here about songs that would specifically benefit from this format.

Looking through earlier stuff:
Midnight Star might be nice.
I’d love to hear Nature Trail to Hell with a full orchestra and a choral section.
Living with a Hernia would probably be good as well.

I put my real predictions in the last thread, but here would be my dream 17 song set

Fun Zone
New Polka
The Biggest Ball Of Twine In Minnesota
Everything You Know Is Wrong
Genius in France
Hardware Store
Jackson Park Express
Jurassic Park
Midnight Star
Mission Statement
Nature Trail to Hell
Pancreas
Spy Hard
Stop Forwarding That Crap To Me
Virus Alert
Why Does This Always Happen To Me
You Don't Love Me Anymore

Obviously most of my picks are original, so most of them don't have a fighting chance.

I've mentioned this before, but something from Peter and the Wolf would be an obvious choice.

Trigger Happy would sound great with an orchestra, but I can't see Al playing it with all the gun violence.

Also Twine Ball!

I'm fine with anything, but here are some songs I would love to hear (picked 1 song from every album).

-I'll Be Mellow When I'm Dead
-King of Suede
-One More Minute
-Living with a Hernia
-Lasagna
-Fun Zone
-Trigger Happy
-Jurassic Park
-Spy Hard
-Everything You Know Is Wrong
-Pretty Fly for a Rabbi
-Hardware Store
-Weasel Stomping Day
-Stop Forwarding That Crap to Me
-Word Crimes

I picked songs that would sound good with an orchestra & songs I liked.

I am now really interested in hearing Spy Hard on this tour! The more I think about it, the more I think it would work. People will get the James Bond / Tom Jones reference even if they don't know Al's song.

The only thing I can think of being an issue is the final note. First off, it's ridiculously high. Second, it's incredibly long. I feel like if the song shows up in the set, that last note is going to be mimed (aka Backing Tracks)

That's fine - he can make a bit of it.
