Acoustic Set EP Release

Post by Muldernscully »

Wouldn't it be cool if Al released an EP of his acoustic set songs from this tour? I would buy it. Would you?

I would definitely. It would be cool to hear the full length acoustic versions of Jeopardy, Surgeon and Rocky Road. Plus, it would be cool if he could sneak Amish Paradise in there as well.

Seeing the title of this thread made me freak out, and then I clicked on it only to find that you were saying "Wouldn't it be cool if..." That was a major bummer...

I'm game, but I'm not sure if there's enough interest in general to constitute a proper release to the masses.

Well, you could always do like I did and edit the four tracks out of this podcast and have an acoustic EP that way... ... c-unplugs/" onclick=";return false;

Yeah, it isn't long enough for a release, for that alone, he wouldn't want to release this. Unless it was a career spanning compilation of acoustic tracks, some of which were unused perhaps and all the well polished one's too, that could certainly work. Only for us Al-lifers who would be the only ones that buy it. :lol:

4 songs is the perfect length for an EP. But it doesn't matter in this world of singles

It would be fun to hear those covers full lenght, not just one verse and/or a chorus :) . He could also add DTBS with strings to it.
