Yeah, Steve Goodie has played "Dumbledore" live before, and it's really good! I'm pretty sure Al has said that Nina likes to listen to it, actually.
On the other hand, it seems like Dumbledore has slightly less syllables to pronounce and isn't as jumbled as the list Al gives, but I haven't listened to the parody of it in a while.

Re: Classic Original for the Mandatory Fun Tour
What if he did something similar with Hardware Store and had the band members sing some of the lines?Bruce the Duck wrote:I don't think Al would be able to do the third verse live. Even with White & Nerdy, the band has to help out in order to get all the lines out.

Re: Classic Original for the Mandatory Fun Tour
I considered that, but since it's the list portion that he'll need help with, the band would have to orchestrate lyrics to be extremely precise. I mean, it's one thing to help with the chorus, it's a whole other to spout off a gigantic list.

Jim and Steve help out a lot in the verses too, rapping the first halves of many of the lines.

Re: Classic Original for the Mandatory Fun Tour
I remember a suggestion for it to be the first song of the medley, with the next song coming after "Would you look at all that stuff"
Plus, it might work out thematically with this album kinda maybe.

Re: Classic Original for the Mandatory Fun Tour
That would be a good solution. The medley has always been entirely parodies. But then it used to always be food songs until Al changed that, so he can change it again if he really wanted to get Hardware Store in there.

I don't know if it's considered a classic, but I would love to see Party at the Leper Colony done live.
