Where are you getting that it's going to be an unplugged tour? As far as I know the only idea so far was to have it without all the costumes and videos and such.
Love and peace.

That's what he means by unplugged. Not acoustic, but a stripped down version of his current show.Sappho wrote:Where are you getting that it's going to be an unplugged tour? As far as I know the only idea so far was to have it without all the costumes and videos and such.
I was thinking that while watching the BlizzCon performance. It hit me during Fat, that it was probably the last time we would ever see it in that form, let alone the song itself performed on stage.Killingsworth wrote:Just think, if NEXT years' "unplugged" tour actually comes to fruition the way he describes it...between thsee clips and whatever footage remains of the Blizzcon performance...we may have footage of the last time these songs are ever performed on stage...ever.

So apparently while Al was waiting for this event he made a special appearance on Anderson Coopers NYE special. Said he was live in Omaha while palm trees were in the background

Hold on, didn't Al say that after this stripped down version of the tour is over, they'd probably be going back to the way it was? I swear I remember hearing/reading that somewhere...

He said that this unplugged tour would be something to change it up a bit, after doing the same thing for decades. I think in that manner, it does leave open the opportunity for the high-caliber costume tours to come back, but doesn't necessarily confirm it.OneWAY wrote:Hold on, didn't Al say that after this stripped down version of the tour is over, they'd probably be going back to the way it was?
