Hampton Beach is a casino
No, it's not. It's an arcade.

Dave

It's a floor wax NO, it's a dessert topping.

Hampton Beach is a casino, and 18 is the minimum legal age in New Hampshire for all kinds of gambling except parimutuel. If you want to lose your shirt on the ponies, you have to be 21.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. It's hard for me to remember those things. Nebraska doesn't have legalized gambling except on Indian reservations.

Or you can go over the river and go see Iowa.

I haven't had such an opener that wasn't booed off stage yet or anything. What happened to the OC opening comedian on Friday? I remember hearing something about it, but I forgot. Nothing bad, I know that.

Al just decided to do 2 complete shows that night because the week had gone so well and he knew a lot of people traveled for it. There just wasn't any time for the opening act.

There wasn't even time to get to my seat for the second show!!!!! I'm surprized Al had time to catch his breath. I wonder if he could talk the next day. :)

The turn around that night was so quick. I had run out to my car between shows to get some thank you things for people, when I got back Al was already 2 songs into the show. So I hung out with massive Mike (one of the OC Fair security Guards) until I could get to my seat without making a scene.

"Massive" Mike :-)...that guy was so nice :) At one point, while everyone

was waiting around after the show in front of the bleachers, he got up and

started putting on his own show, expansively singing LAS with dance moves to match.

In fact, he was the one who "directed" the photo I use for the avatar.

Mike is cool...Kevin took a picture of Mike and Al together, unfortunately he hasn't come back into Kona to pick it up. I hope he does soon...Kona is going to be closed down in a month.

That was the show where you were sitting next to me(?). I remember you getting detoured by the concert on the other side of the fair. Boy, most of that week was a blur to me.

That's right! I did sit next to you. The other show that night was Heart and I did get detoured because of it. It was like traffic at rush hour on the 405 - we weren't going any where. (I guess I shouldn't have had that bag of bran muffins an hour and half ago)

Oh, okay. I can't even remember how much time there was between those shows. It went by al so fast.
