Al Performing "Pico and Sepulveda" live on KMET

Post by Eyeball Chair »

This is NOT the version we all want to hear, but it's interesting to hear.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a216jdi6Gdo&feature=plcp Dr Demento, Al, Musical Mike, Damaskas and Juanito were present at the time of this recording.

Does the version we want to hear have the lyrics "Dr Demento" or "Pico and Sepulveda"?
I couldn't tell a dirt clod from a plate of caviar.

I don't think it would make sense I doubt many people got to listen to the 1973 song.... My guess is that Al, Bermuda, Dr D, Mike Weyrick and Steve Willis are the only people who heard this song, and maybe a few others...

And yes, I said it wasn't the one we wanted to hear, but interesting nonetheless.

I don't think Bermuda did either.

Bermuda once asked Dr. Demento if he had a copy of this, and he didn't... I mean, in 1973, it probably went to the trash.

Ya never know. Someone may have kept a copy somewhere... Hey, we heard those Zygot joke line recordings from '75, anything's possible. But we shouldn't hold our breaths about it.
