It's definitely not my favorite either, but it's a good song. I love the line, "Maybe he should dye his hair bright pink and stick a safety pin through his cheeks. Then he'd really fit the new wave image but he couldn't sit down for weeks." :lol: That never fails to crack me up.

On one of the probably out-of-print Dr Demento Basement Tapes compilations. Dr D's been known to play it on his show once in a great while.

I see BT #5 has a live version of it. But is there also a studio version somewhere, or is the live version the only available one?

I think there's a poor-quality live version, and a better live version that sounds like a studio version.

for some reason I love it as well. Definitely better than lots of the stuff on the first album. Too bad it never got onto an album.
