This was definitely performed on the show. I don't hear any clapping at the beginning, though. Only at the end.

I've seen a partial video of this. Al and the band are guests on the show. They're seated and singing to Joe at his desk.

If you can't find it there, try Google. I know I've seen the video online somewhere before, so it's definitely findable.
