Does anyone owns this masterpiece?? It was my first Al related item I bought without even knowing it! He really did a great job mixing the songs and adding color to the I Love Lucy footage>> Any one knows where can I find more info about him recording this album?

I do not have it. Mainly because I'm not a big I Love Lucy fan.

Is it so good I should get it?

The main reason to get it it's because it's got AL's name in the credits! The musical arrangements that he made were great!!. In the last part of the video; color was added to the old ILL footage..At the end the first name on the credits is Al's! He should be very proud of that work! :peace:

There was a CD and a VHS produced by Al in 1991. The CD is no longer available unless you buy it used. The VHS is available at "The Lucy Story" in Universal Studios. I don't think you can buy it used anywhere else.

BTW, Al isn't the only one on the credits! Here are all the Al-related credits on the album:

Produced by Al Yankovic
Executive Producers: Ken Ross and Jay Levey
Engineered by Tony Papa
"Babalu Music": Produced and Arranged by Al Yankovic
Engineered by Brad Buxer
Mixed by Tony Papa
Bass Guitar: Steve Jay
Percussion Overdubs: Jon "Bermuda" Schwartz

"Babalu Music" is really the only song that Al worked on personally, but the whole CD is wonderful!

For those of you who have never heard the album, you may just get your chance....if you PLAY your cards right!
