Has anybody looked closely at the cover for Al's debut ALbum? There are drawings referencing every song on the album.
Ricky: The TV is showing "I Love Lucy".
Gotta Boogie: The disco ball hanging from the ceiling. (it is a disco style parody, after all)
I Love Rocky Road: There's a bucket of Rocky Road ice cream, an ice cream cone, and a bumper sticker saying I (heart) Rocky Road.
Buckingham Blues: There's a poster on the wall featuring Big Ben, and a double-decker bus. Also, the cover of the Time magazine on the floor looks like it could be a picture of Chuck and Diane (drawn as greyhounds or something).
Happy Brithday: Broccoli by next to the bed, by the closet; beer cans all over (eat a lot of broccoli, and drink a lot beer), there's a birthday cake on the floor on our side of the bed, and a party hat and noise maker.
Stop Draggin' My Car Around: There are car parts all over the room.
My Bologna: There's a link of bologna on the floor, a couple at the end of the bed, and package of Oscar Mayer hanging on the closet door, and one on top of the TV.
The Check's in the Mail: The empty mailbox on the right edge of the cover.
Another One Rides the Bus: There's a toy wind-up bus in front of the nightstand, and look, it's full of people!
I'll Be Mellow When I'm Dead: The Big Mac on the bed, junk food all over, and doesn't the song mention a lava lamp?
Such a Groovy Guy: Okay, this one I couldn't find anything on this one... unless the handcuffs hanging from the trapeze have anything to do with it. I'm not as familiar with this song.
Mr. Frump in the Iron Lung: Good ole' Mr. Frump, himself, is protruding out of the closet.
And notice also the references to Weird Al's past and influences: The picture of Dr. Demento next to Al's head, the Allan Sherman LP on the floor at the end of the bed, and the drafting tools (T-square and Triangle) next to Allan Sherman. It's a feast for the eyes! Kind of like a Where's Waldo, or an I Spy game.
Any thoughts? I'm also curious to find out if anybody out there sees anything else.
