iancook, it said on Al's Behind the Music that he drinks occasionally. I'm sure one or two beers on his birthday wouldn't hurt him. Or me, for that matter. ;)
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

I played this song for my mom on her birthday once and she looked at me like I was out of my mind.

hehe, well, I guess not everyone appreciates a birthday song about living on the street, starvation, greed, poverty, and total global annihilation.

Buy why not? You should be thankful on your birthday that you're not afflicted by all those things... unless you ARE all those things, in which case, yeah, maybe go with the more traditional happy birthday song.

:P

 Very true! Al does say "You should be good and happy that there's something you can eat", right? I guess you can look at the bright side when listening to this song. I always do!

This was before she understood the phenom that is Weird Al. She's a subliminal fan now, as I've slowly poisoned her mind...she's my eager pawn now... |)
