Al's most useless song... and that includes "Girls Just Wanna Have Lunch" which he was forced to write.

JEDM's most useless post... and that includes this post about "I Love Rocky Road" which he was not forced to write but still chose to.

Gotta Boogie!

I like this song, as a first album song. It's childish, but also the '70iest song out there for Al

Am I the only one that thinks of Steve Martin when I hear this? I literally just picture Steve Martin (maybe Little Shop of Horrors-ish) when he says "Gotta boogie on my finger and I can't shake it off!"

My favorite thing about this song is the way the woman says "No, man. I don't want a boogie."

I prefer the "Get that boogie out of my face" woman.

Was listening to this album recently.

As good as Al's gotten over the years and his improvements as a writer...I love this song.

Maybe it's a sentimental attachment to the nostalgia as a kid listening to it, I don't know. It's funny.

A cute song, but at the end of the day, nothing special.
