I wouldn't say it's huge, but it is a problem. Cheap contraband fuel, medicine, alcohol and cigarettes from Russia (Kaliningrad) are very popular. Those are often smuggled by common people in small amounts, e.g. old ladies would pretend they're visiting some friends there and stuff their underwear with medicine and then supply their neighbours, family etc  . Of course there are large scale smugglers too.

Man, I bet this couldn't get any more :offtopic: than this
Al would not endorse smuggling. Off-topic has its place, but I bet it's a rules violation.

This video is great, and the link is posted on The Mothership! You gotta love high school students performing this song at a talent show!

4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

They did a good job. I love the Harvey the Wonder Hampster part.

Muldernscully wrote:NTTH is a fun song. The horror/slasher movies of the 80's definitely needed to be made fun of. Weird Al sang about the Rocky movies going on indefinitely. What about the Friday the 13th and Elm Street movies? They never stop!
Like Bruce said, this song is much stronger musically than lyrically. I give it a 3 out of 5.

Yeah there is no rating system for this song. If you don't give it a full rating then you clearly cannot be pleased. Or, the rating system just sucks.

Anybody else dig Cheez Whiz? I eat it very rarely, like once a year, all in the name of Satan! 'Cause you know, he likes it.

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned this yet, and I registered specifically to tip you off, but I really feel that Nature Trail To Hell is a style parody of The Damned.

Listen to the following:

Plan 9 Channel 7

Curtain Call

This one came out after the fact, but here's Grimly Fiendish, too:

Whaddya think?

Yeah I've always figured it was a small homage to them but I think they pulled it off even better. The better production value makes Trail a deadly cut, The Damned somewhat depended on sloppy production as part of their grim effect but polish it up in the Al sense and it is hard to tell the similarities, but yeah vocally I think that's where they took some influence and with the keyboard direction. Jim's solo seems a lot more neat and tidy then they would have done, it is tough to tell at points but Bermuda could tell us in the end.
