Uh, the album version doesn't have ANY accordion in it, so yea....the demo and live version would have more accordion....
Great. Who's right?

Allie's right. No accordion on the DTBS version.

Wow! I never realized that! I definitely like it better with accordion.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

I feel so sorry for those idiots who leave after "Fat."

People actually do that?

Anyway I love the Yoda chant live - cant remember much when I saw him but like the live DVD I remember thinking 'he seems quite pleased with the show!'

He has the best smile! :D

I'm pretty sure in the boxed set booklet Al explained his desire to avoid using accordion on the album version, since after the accordion-heavy debut album he was more or less reserving the instrument only for the polkas.

But anyway, I'm very fond of the live arrangement because it does take the best elements of both recorded versions. It still maintains the Kink-like rock sound of the album version, but the music now has a stronger "Weird Al note," to give the quality a name. This is perhaps demonstrated perfectly in the opening bars, which were expanded just enough to give one a taste of the addition of the accordion.

I retract my statement about there being accordion on the studio version. I listened today, and it features guitar instead. I am very glad Al decided to make the accordion the more prevalent instrument in concert. It really adds a nice, full sound to the song.

Thanks, Allsion, for posting the correct info after I said what I did. :S
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

I never leave a concert early, because you never know what might happen. The first time I saw him in concert I had no idea. I waited and and I'm glad. I had never realized until then how popular Yoda was
