I think maybe because it's a bit older and not as familiar to Al fans. I certainly don't hear it on oldies stations as often as I hear American Pie or Piano Man.

I have heard "Lola" plenty of times on classic rock stations.

Totally good song. Having said that, most of the stuff I've heard from Huey Lewis isn't that awesome. That is a good tune though.
