This is one of my favorites from Polka party. I remember that I first saw clips from the music video on Al's Behind the Music special, and I really wanted to have that song (at the time I didn't have Polka Party or Greatest Hits... and I still don't have Permaneant Record). It's funny how in the music video Al wears his suit almost everywhere.

I had not seen the original video & laughed my head off when I saw Al. I thought he was just doing a really good James Brown-esk video.

Sometime later, watching MTV or the like one night I saw the fireworks & screamed out to the family 'quick it's Living with a hernia'. They all run over, it looked promising, but it was Mr.Brown. We still enjoyed it & got a lot more laughs relating it to Al.

Once again Al's comittment to the details is a credit to him.

& my kids know most of their biology/medical stuff courtesy of Al's music. (Living with a hernia, Pancreas, Living in the fridge, Mr. Frump etc) :D

What's the cover of the single supposed to be? And please don't say, it's someone throwing something. I got that...

Well, then, why didn't he just have a normal picture, and why is the thing red, and why is the guy a caveman???

My favorite part is "You can't even do the splits now...Better call it quits now"

Very educational song! Very catchy! I give it 4 out of 5 stars.
