When I was a kid and listened to this song, I thought it referred to the remote control, and pictured Ed McMahon sitting on the remote, making Al unable to change the channel.

Welllll yeah I know about it in that context. Like I know what a panel is. I just had never heard of the guests of a talk show being referred to as a panel.

Yeah, I guess the meaning has changed slightly over the years, but I do remember guests on a talk show being called a panel, because, you know, I'm so olllllld.

I like Short Circuit, I like Who's Johnny, so I like this song as well. I give it a 4 out of 5.
