I noticed there wasn't a topic for this song (as far as I could see), so I decided to make one! I personally like this song, it's pretty funny. What are your guys thoughts?

BTW, I remember reading somewhere that this song samples "Money" by Pink Floyd at about 2:46. I would normally think this is just a stock sound effect, but if you listen very faintly, in the background after the cha-ching of the register, you can hear sounds that sound similar to "Money." Anybody have any insight?

I think there was no topic for this because most people rank it as one of their least favorite parodies. I know I do. :P

As for sampling "Money", I've never heard that before but I just listened to both and it does sound like the same Ka-ching at the beginning of "Money". Could be they both used the same stock sound. There doesn't seem to be any logical reason to sample the Pink Floyd song.

EDIT: I didn't realise that the cash register sounds on "Money" were specifically recorded for that song, so I guess what I said can't be true.

Most people? I think its a great song. Granted it's only my opinion, but since there has been no discussion I dont think it can be a blanket statement. AS far as the Money question, I agree and think it's just a stock sound effect.

Yeah, I don't think it's fair to say most people rate this song low on their list. I like it, too. It is odd that it took this long for someone to start a topic about it. I'm also guessing that the cash register sound was just a stock sound effect, and not a sample.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

I like this song, but I don't love it by any means.

I think this song is ok. There's nothing really special about it, IMO.

As for the sound effect, listen very carefully and you can hear three distinct noises, a Ka-Ching of a register, the ripping of money, and the clinking of coins. LISTEN! :P

Believe it or not, I don't really have any opinion on this song. It's good. It's nothing special, but it's definitely good. I like the live performance feel of it. That's something unique to an Al song.
