2 questions about Even Worse

I looked for the answer elsewhere, so I figured I'd come to the font of all AL knowledge.

1. Was "Alimony" recorded live, or just done to sound that way?

2. Where's the polka medley? *ready to tear her clothes and riot in the streets*

Actually, it's weirdal.com that's the fount of all AL knowledge (although this place comes close when Bermuda isn't too busy with his day job to pop in on occasion and set us straight).

To answer 1. QUOTE Mike Farley of South Amboy/NJ asks: Hey Al!! I was wonder if \"Alimony\" was live or did you just throw in the screaming and yelling?

I was singing it live-- in the studio-- with a bunch of pre-recorded screaming. Does that count?

To answer 2: I don't know! The way I figure it, some time in the future Al owes us an album with two polka medleys on it. :P

I believe the answer to the second question is that "Lasagna" was already heavy with accordion and Al thought putting two "accordion songs" on the album would just be obnoxious.

What a silly man. And since when does he worry about being obnoxious?

That wouldn't quite put things at an equipoise though, as he'd still owe us another polka to make up for the lack of a polka on the first album.

Mewrio, that would be great. But the wedding video would be speeded up (sped up?) and be played with the new polka.

Aw. :( The accordion part on Lasagna is lovely, and doesn't sound anything like a polka. I admit, I sometimes skip Lasagna, but I always wait until after the musical intro.

Oh. I thought it was because EW came out after the poor sales of "Polka Party"...so I thought maybe he was discouraged and thought the Polkas weren't going anywhere anymore..

Oh, and mewrio? Have you contacted the merch gods???
