I remember when I first heard of this song, my friend said it was "This song is just six words long", even though I knew that it was listed as "(This Song's Just) Six Words Long".

Well when Al is singing it, it does sound like he's saying, "This song is just six words long", but if you listen really closely you can tell it's "song's"
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

I still hold to the idea that he says "is just". It adds that level of irony. It's hard to tell, but I can definitely hear it.

Yeah, "song's" tends not to be as disyllabic as Al made it.

I love this song! :D The lyrics are super amusing. I love the "I gotta fill time...three minutes worth of time...oh how will I fill so much time..." part the best.
