The reason I love this song, is it's the opener for Al's concerts (except for the recent ones. ;( ) It gets me so energetic before a show, and that's before Al even comes out! Everytime I hear it, I think of concerts, and that's why I like it so much.

DISCUSS.

I put the accapella version of D12's fight song 40 Oz. over Fun Zone and it sounds pretty funny.

Yes, CrazyGurl. Al's been opening with a dedication to his folks, instead of Fun Zone.

I love FZ. Not just for the concert connection, but because it's just a fun song. Lots of energy and bounce. I love getting to hear TBITB do their thang. I'd really love to have more instrumentals, even if just as bonus materials on some upcoming album.

Don't forget it also inspires lovely UHF memories as welll :Y

Good tune. First time I heard it (Outside of the UHF of course) was on Crazy Jay's countdown with Bermuda. Jay started talking over the music, I was mad. I was getting into the song!
You have quickly thought up such matchless phrase?

Yes, "Fun Zone" is definately one of Al's best. The first time I saw Al live, I didn't know that FZ was coming, and when it did, I swear I almost wet myself! :P It still never fails to get me pumped up at the start of the concert. Awesome song! And like Bobbi said, it's not just great because it's the intro to the concert, but because it's such a fun, exciting song. The only time I don't like listening to it is when I'm driving, because I get into the tune so much that I get distracted and start driving way too fast! :P

Same here. I remember prior to my first concert experience I had read that Al "plays Fun Zone at the beginning of each of his concerts," and I took that to mean he and the band actually performed the song; needless to say, I was a little disappointed when I found that just the track from the album was played.

Not that there's anything wrong with dedicating the shows to his parents though. I'm almost expecting Funzone to return in July though, because might be deciding to move on, in terms of concerts anyway. I dont think you can easily move on with your life that quick in times like this, but Al's a very strong person, as you can tell from his decision with the tour, so you never know.

But anyway, I think Funzone will be back this summer. Just my thoughts though.
