Do people really "accidentally" leave a CD playing and get scared by this? I always assumed most people would turn off a CD after the last song or at least realize it was still playing and wait to see what came next.

You just forget its on, Jon, especially if you are busy. You think the CD finished and then BLAAAAM! you're scraping yourself off the ceiling

Wow that's crazy. I don't think I've ever forgot a CD is on. Regardless, I do think it's a funny hidden track.

I'll never forget the first time I heard it. Having never heard the Nirvana track it's supposedly spoofing, I noticed there was a hidden track and sat patiently for 10 minutes waiting for it to come on. Then two seconds later I'm like "that's it?"

*sigh* I try to multi-task and I don't do a good job of it. I was talking with the guy and hadn't noticed that the music wasn't playing anymore and then, as Louise said BLAAAAMMM! And yes I frequently leave CDs running and forget about them!

Pardon my bump, but I have a question about this, ahem, song. I have the opportunity to buy a new copy of Off the Deep End (that is to say, with the Volcano label), but I'm told that Bite Me is not present on the re-release. Could somebody clarify for me?

So a used, Scotti Bros. copy would include it?
