[FONT=Arial] There Was a Cover of this song on Disney's: Ratatouille Whats Cooking? CD, I was surprised that there was actually a cover of this song on that CD. I would buy it if I had money right now

I haven't seen Ratatouille yet, but I plan to; looks so cute!

Plus, a few friends and I have a saying now, because of this song. "Senor la cuenta por favor" from this song. Doesn't mean anything, but we just end up laughing. Stupid, I know.

Nobody likes this song.
Um, it does mean something. "Sir, the check, please".

I love Taco Grande!
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

I think Mr Gilmore means there's no story behind why they adopted the saying, not that the Spanish is meaningless gibberish.

Ugh, what were they trying to do? That was a horrible "re-mix" of a song. (There is no way that could be passed off as a cover)

The soundtrack to Ratatouille was great, as it usually is for Pixar movies. But when they release these 'compilation'-type CDs with the name of a movie attached... they always seem to fail..

Yes. Gracias.

There's no reason for us to do it. It's just odd to throw out there.

Haha, this is a great post.

I was just listening to this song the other day, and I've always wondered - what is that sample or background vocal thing before "Taco" and "Grande" are said during the chorus? I noticed it's the same in the original.

Are you referring to the horns? Because that actually sounds like a clip from the 1966 Batman series.
