Best Parody Target
Forgetting about the now well-known Weird Al parodies, which of these five original songs do you actually like the most?
I couldn't tell a dirt clod from a plate of caviar.

Re: Best Parody Target
This one's a joke. The other four don't even come anywhere close to Nirvana.
In order:
Smells Like Teen Spirit
U Can't Touch This
Ugh...
Baby, Don't Forget My Number/Blame It On the Rain
You Got It (The Right Stuff)
Rico Suave

Re: Best Parody Target
Even my 12 year old Hammer pants owning self would vote Nirvana here.

You have quickly thought up such matchless phrase?

Easiest choice yet. Too each his own, but this is no contest.

Re: Best Parody Target
Although I'm not as much into Nirvana as I used to be, this one has to be "Smells Like Teen Spirit."

"Smells Like Teen Spirit" is the clear winner, but "Baby Don't Forget My Number" would be my 2nd choice. It's catchy as hell.

Re: Best Parody Target
For about a week back when it was a hit, I was obsessed with Blame it on the Rain.

Re: Best Parody Target
"Smells Like Teen Spirit," duh.
"U Can't Touch This" is still something of a minor classic.
Milli Vanilli is basically only remembered for not really being Milli Vanilli, while NKOTB was the boy band that gave us the Wahlbergs, but both of their songs were pretty forgettable.
I don't even know who Gerardo was, let alone what the original "Rico Suave" is like. At least Al's parody had Cheech Marin.
Overall, some pretty weak parody targets on this album.
