Yeah, it's called "Bite Me". It scares the crap out of just about everyone.

Has anyone noticed in YDLMA that right in between "...cute the way" and "you poison my coffee..." Al makes this kind of snorting-snoring-nasal-conjestiony noise? Maybe he was kind of sick when they recorded it ...poor Al :(...

This song of course is an Al classic. And that's all I have to say.

I don't think that's a head cold, I think that's meant to be a distressed lover sniffling back his tears. Al's something of a recording perfectionist; if there was a random, unauthorized snurfle, he'd have recorded another take on the vocal rather than releasing the song with snurfle still in place.

I agree with OE. Any snurfle you hear is an authorized, on purpose for comedic effect, snurfle.

I'll agree with that. I learned a new fun word. Snurfle. I like it! It sounds like a good Al kinda word, too.

Did Al ever release (or have fans obtained, otherwise ;) :P) an instrumental version of this song? It's got a really nice instrumental. Simple, yet complex, and just right for the style of the song.

Hey, didn't I just answer this?

Anyway, Al never released an instrumental YDLMA. If a YDLMA instrumental exists, it would be on a karaoke CDG, but it wouldn't be by Al. It would just be a cover version by someone else.

There is something called "Leadsinger Musikartridge Vol.3 90's POP-Rock" which contains YDLMA. Search on that, and you'll find it. It's a karaoke cartridge, so I assume it's an instrumental cover version. But it looks like you need a special "microphone" to play it.

It's never been released, but a separate instrumental track does exist, as Al used it when he performed the song in "unplugged" style during 1992's "Al-TV" and "AlMusic" specials.
