I love the melody and the words in this song. It's so great! Franks 2000 inch TV is one of my favorite originals!

Well, Frank's 2000" TV is my favorite song on Alapalooza. Al did a great job on that one.

The standard ratio for TVs is 4:3. For a widescreen TV it's 16:9.

So, on a standard 4:3 ratio TV, a 2000" diagonal would result in a height of 1200" and a width of 1600".

To the nearest inch, a widescreen TV would have height of approximately 981" and width of approximately 1744".

Wow! Dave thanks now I can picture that size TV better too bad I don't have enough room in my apartment for either the standard or widescreen I guess I'll just have to keep the one I have. :lol: O-)


I just listened to the song on headphones and you guys are right it is a good one for headphones.

So it's 100 ft by 133 ft (and a little more.) Could you really watch The Simson's from 30 blocks away? A mile is approx 10 blocks so it would be 3 miles away.

Perhaps I'm overthinking it. What did we do with that Overanalyzing topic, anyhow?

It is one of my favorite songs. :bigups:

Wow, I just listened to it on headphones and it sounds really good. I don't know why, but it just sounds different on headphones.
