World of Weird Al Yankovic

When I first heard this song, I thought that it was weird that the song was so short. I wondered if maybe this was some sort of cartoon theme song. At the time I had only seen the 1996 ALTV, and had only saw it once, didn't remember too much about what was on that show outside of Al's music videos, and didn't see the whole special, so I didn't know about harvey's origins (I also saw clips from the first ALTV special on The Complete Al, but also didn't remember much, so I forget if Harveyw as in those clips).

By the way, I recently made a few wishes about Harvey in the "Make a Wish, Have it Corrupted" thread, and I've been told that Harvey is dead. Is there any truth to this, or is it just a joke? Harvey has been played by many different hamsters, but has Al ever officially stated that the character is dead? I didn't see all of Al's last ALTV special, so I don't know if Al explained to the audience there that Harvey was dead or not.

The reason when people tell you harvey is dead, in the make a wish thread, is because hamsters only live for a few years. So it's part of the joke. And also since there hasn't been a new altv for a long time, the character might be dead too. I don't know if Al has made it official though.
