Well, it's not that it's only half of him. Half of his body is painted black. That's why you can't see that half. I've seen the original Aerosmith video. Running down the middle of Steven Tyler's body, there was a zipper. I didn't see if Al had a zipper or not. I'll have to watch again. *such torture!*

i think that i am going to watch my al stuff tonight since there is no more school this week. I'll watch before and after conan. cant wait

I watched the clip, and yes, there is a zipper. It was done in sparkly gold paint, and looks pretty realistic.

I agree it does look pretty real! I like all of the first part of the clip.

Ok, I'm going to do a little comparison. I'm going to show pics of Steven Tyler from the original "Livin' on the Edge" video next to our boy from the "Livin' in the Fridge" clip. I'm sure you'll agree, Al did a very good job of looking very similar to Steven.
*Psst, I do like Steven, but I think Al looks better.
