Jurassic Park - My least favourite lead parody, it's alright though - 7/10
Young, Dumb & Ugly - Pretty funny and quite catchy - 8/10
Bedrock Anthem - Loved the originals, good concept aswell, it also has my favourite Al video - 9/10
Frank's 2000" TV - I love REM, I love Al, Kablam - 9/10
Achy Breaky Song - I like it but it needs more - 8/10
Traffic Jam - There are some fantastic lines in it but I don't like Prince - 7/10
Talk Soup - Best original on the album - 10/10
Living in the Fridge - The original had the best bridge of any song ever, and that plus Al deserves brownie points - 10/10
She Never Told Me She Was A Mime - Not one of Al's best, quite forgettable - 6/10
Harvey the Wonder Hamster - Filler - 4/10
Waffle King - Too dragged out, just a bad version of Talk Soup, has it's moments though - 6/10
Bohemian Polka - One of my least favourite polkas, not that different from the original - 5/10

Overall - A great album up until Living in the Fridge where it takes a considerable turn for the worse - 7.5

Jurrasic Park: 8/10 While much funnier withe the video the song is still good. Al's just does this song so well it doesn't even feel like a parody almost.
Young Dumb And Ugly: 7/10 It's funny enough I guess
Bedrock Anthem: 6/10 meh it just doesn't do it for me also I'm still very surprised anthony let Al parody them seeing as how weird he is with his music
Frank's 2000" TV: 10/10 One of my favorite Al songs, I just love it.
Achy Breaky Song: 8.5/10 Really find this one to be funny, pretty mean spirited for an Al song though but maybe that's why I love it.
Traffic Jam: 6/10 It's ok song, it's catchy but I feel like it's goes on for bit too long.
Talk Soup: 4/10 It's not very good, it was originally a theme song for some cancelled show and it shows it just doesn't really seem like an Al song. It feels like this song tries to hard to be funny
Livin In The Fridge: 8/10 It's pretty good and funny but I feel it's a tad overrated
She Never Told Me She Was A Mime: 5/10 I feel like this concept just doesn't work as well as Al had hoped but there is part or two that is ok.
Harvey The Wonder Hamster: 10/10 HEY HARVEY!
Waffle King: 7.5/10 Screw what people say. I like this song
Bohemian Polka: 7/10 meh I like it but not that much.

I feel like "She Never Told Me She Was a Mime" would be a great Steven Wright-esque one-liner, but stretched out into a full song...not so much.

Reading my 'review' of this album from 9 years ago(!)...I really need to redo it.

Here's something to think about: If Anthony Kedis had denied Al permission to use any Chilli Peppers songs, what other 91-93 era songs could Al have turned into a Flinstones themed parody?

1.Bedrock Anthem. Great tribute to the Flintstones in a song that flat out rocks!

2.Jurrasic Park. As someone that actually appreciates the music of Richard Harris (yes,he made more songs than just MacArthur Park & the Camelot soundtrack) Al does great by the song. Never been a real fan of the JP movies, but I still get the jokes. My little sister used to hate the video due to the violent death of Barney. :P

3. Young Dumb And Ugly. A real strong 3 song opening.Probably the best on any Album. The music is a cool tribute to all the "hair metal" bands big at the time, with some funny lyrics of living on the "mild side".

4.Waffle King. My namesake. :D As I think I've made mention,I just get a kick out of Al being obnoxious over some trivial accomplishment. I always turn it up for "Listen pal,you can kiss my royal butt!"

5.Traffic Jam. An underrated gem. "Shouldn't have had that bag of bran muffins an hour and a half ago..."

6. Harvey The Wonder Hamster. A fitting tribute to the world's greatest hamster!

7.Bohemian Polka. A departure from Al's typical polka, but it works here. I think I appreciate it more since I can remember the year this became a "re-hit" and you couldn't help but hear it every 15 minutes. It was nice to hear it again, but different for the 2027th time.

8.Frank's 2000" TV. Not really a "laugh out loud" knee-slapper and as a kid I was kinda ambivalent about it,but it has grown on me considerably. It's just very pleasant sounding I guess.

9.Livin In The Fridge. Kinda gets overlooked by me most of the time,I suppose. But a decent parody. Al's background vocals are probably the funniest aspect. "You can't stop the mold from growing! Dysentery! Dysentery! "

10. Achy Breaky Song. Not really a masterpiece, but a catchy song.

11.She Never Told Me She Was A Mime. Extremely forgettable. I don't think I honestly remember any of the lyrics. It's kind of a less engaging "That boy could dance." Perhaps Al was being too clever for us?

12.Talk Soup. Al sounds kinda funny imploring "Listen to me! Listen to meeeee!", but not really enough of a redeeming quality to keep me from skipping it 99% of the time.
Back off me,man-back off.

Jurassic Park: 9.5/10 A fun song with a good video. :jp:
Young Dumb And Ugly: 6/10 A good clasic AC/DC style parody but bad lyrics.
Bedrock Anthem: 10/10 I love how Al combines 2 songs in to 1 and makes a fun TV themed parody. :great:
Franks 2000" TV: 10/10 The best original on this album. :good:
Achy Breaky Song: 8/10 A nice fun way to get over the cancer that is Achy Breaky Heart.
Traffic Jam: 3/10 Al's worst officially released song. Lame music, bad lyrics and too long. :killed:
Talk Soup: 4/10 A quick way to describe this is "Jerry Springer" is way better. :bad:
Livin' In The Fridge: 9/10 A good funny parody of an already great song.
She Was A Mime: 3/10 Refer to "Traffic Jam".
Harvey The Wonder Hamster: 9.5/10 A nice quick song to wear off the pain of "She Was A Mime" it was released 8 years to late.
Waffle King: 6/10 A good concept just poorly executed. It should have been on Off The Deep End.
Bohemian Polka: 8/10 A good end to a bad album. :accordion:
