He definitely was saying "stoned". You heard wrong...

How do you hear the word "fine" from the word "stoned?

Just in case people haven't seen it, here's the "Buddy Holly" bit that was cut out of this polka..

I wonder who will be the first to mix it back into the song...

FINALLY, after all these years.

Shame the vocal is so low.
Just gonna stand there and watch me burn...that's alright because I like the way it hurts...

There has to be some reason for it to pop up twice out of nowhere 13 years after the fact...it'd be great to see it on The Essentials but I thought the only polkas being considered where "Polkas on 45" and "Polka Your Eyes Out." But hopefully Al has since realized that TAP is by far the best polka and is going ahead with that.

Or at least it needs to be on that GH3 that's supposedly due next year.

Man, it would be awesome if that was commercially released. I swear I don't remember that he performed TAP with Buddy Holly live. I saw the Bad Hair Tour and I've seen a bootleg of another show - don't remember that from either one.

I would LOVE to hear TAP restored to the way it was meant to be.

Fantastic! Hey Al, how about posting the "Photograph" Nickelback polka segment from "Polkarama" next (if it exists)? Thanks for the snippet, Mr. Yankovic!
