I may have mentioned that I played this song for my dentist last time I was there (prudently, I waited until he was finished in my mouth before offering him the earphones). He chuckled and said how clever Al was, but he was mostly impressed by the quality of the music. He asked if they sound the same way in concert... maybe I'll get him to go hear Al live next time he tours.
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

This is a very underrated song. I think it would have been a better single than "Gump."

Yes, I agree, it is very good. Not as good as Gump, but still a very good song. Very catchy, too.
Cane and Rinse: weekly thoughtful video game discussion. Give it a listen, won't you?

When I first got Bad Hair Day, I thought the complete opposite. The original had been 3 years old at that point, and U2 never really gets respect from the hip pop MTV singles video crowd (Not like they have a problem with that, of course). In fact, Gump may have done better on MTV than Amish Paradise (I seem to remember Gump on the pre-TRL Most Wanted more times than AP)

I do agree that it's underrated. I'm not big on the humor in the song. But I like the approach the band took, and the muzzak stuff at the end is just killer.
You have quickly thought up such matchless phrase?

His attention to the details makes it a great song--- the Muzak topped with the drill sound at the very end is my favorite.
Aron-- Only the second accordionist to ever sit in the trunk of Torsoboy's DeLorean. Al was the first.

It's OK, but not really that great. I like the drills in the song.
