If the format would ever catch on, I would like to see an ALbum done on DVD-Audio, to which the enhanced CD's seemed to be a sort of ancestor.
But it's just funny how quickly the technology swings back and forth. Enhanced CD's were big in the late 90's, and then last year there was that sliver of hope that DVD-Audio was going to go the next step, and since that has pretty much been stillborn in stores it's back to enhanced CD's.
The record industry won't be happen until they can sell a disc that will create a virtual reality artist to perform right in your living room.

Mmmm. That doesn't sound bad at all. :biggrin:The record industry won't be happen until they can sell a disc that will create a virtual reality artist to perform right in your living room.
And that would be a bad thing? Sounds a little like my holodeck idea.
Holodeck. Now if I could only go to the 24th century and take that technology with me...But that would contaminate the timeline... :nervous:
Bah. I can dream of the day.
