That part of the son where gungans die, ships blow up, and pilots fry is pretty violent. I hope the kid wasn't traumatized by it.

THis is my favorite Al song. I remember my mom driving me around and hearing it on Radio Disney. It was an edited version where instead of saying "hitting on the queen" the line was changed to "talking to the queen."

Remind me, fellow Al fans - what were the lyric changes that Al had to make to this song? I know he wrote it based on internet spoilers, then after an advance screening had to change a few things, but I can't remember what they were.

I only know of one for sure. His original line was, "I hear he's gonna marry her someday." I guess in the Internet spoilers Al read, Anakin told Padme he was going to marry her. When that piece of dialogue wasn't in the movie, Al changed it to "He's probably gonna marry her someday."

Such a lovely parody based off of a lovely song!

I remember at a cafe I worked at, one of my close friends (who's a huge Al fan and even looks like Al mixed with Elijah Wood and Gene Wilder) sang this version of the song when Don McLean's "American Pie" came on. It. Was. Glorious. :D
