QUOTE QUOTE Maybe AL took a long time because he needed to get another label? I know Im off topic but do you think AL-bum 12# will come quicker since AL has a label and is settled?
no Bermuda would post it on weirdal.com if AL had a chnage in record label because he announced it when he switched to Volcano.
Ratbert the record label I meant was Volcano
Poodle Hat (was ALBUM NAME!)

Maybe a past reference to the new "Poodle Hat" ALbum:
http://www.weirdal.com/xmas01.htm
Maybe Al got his inspiration from this...
But then if it followed this picture, it would have been:
"Suzanne, Poodle, Cockateil Hat"

Flashes aren't needed anyway. The stage is bright enough and flashes only light up the area immediately around you anyway. Most seats are too far from the stage for flashes to make a difference anyway.

You also need 800 or 1000 speed film to take pictures without a flash in a concert. 800 always worked best for me.

It wasn't a new label Al needed, it was a new contract with the same label. It's all there on weirdal.com.
There's really no excuse for Al to wait THIS long between Poodle Hat and the NEXT album, IMHO. He's got a record contract. He won't have to get married again, which probably interferes much more with record-making than being married does. And although I suppose Al & Suzanne might have another child, and I'd have to admit that's even more important than a new Al record, I hear that the learning curve is not quite as steep with #2. So there you have it. No excuse. Unless, of course, the dog eats his homework. :nervous:

I didn't want to start a whole new topic just for a question, so forgive me if this is off topic.
I need a little info that I didn't find on wa.com...
I am working on a new WAY project and I need to know which albums where released on which labels. Can somebody who has them take a peek and let me know. WA.com just lists them all as Way Moby/Volcano which is what they are now, but I need to know what they were then.
Thanks!

Let me direct you to Greg's discography. After you've digested all that info, if you still have questions, just ask Greg.
Okay... You can ask me too.

Thanks for pointing that out, that's very true. Many well-meaning fans have submitted flash photos from the audience with terrific shots of the heads in the few rows in front of them, but a relatively dark stage. If they'd turn the flash off, the stage would look great, and any heads in the shot would be innocuous silhouettes.
Great album name... "Innocuous Silhouettes"
Good one!
Thank you for the photography tip, Dave and Bermuda--I'm not very good at it, and need all the help I can get! I do love my new digital camera with zoom, and it really does very well without flash, so I'll work at saving the poor eyes of Al and the band!
