Besides ACS, this is my favorite song from PH. The 3rd verse is the best!

great song. i love it live. after the concert me and my friend zoe would sit and sing the part about him stabbing his boss in the face. thats my faveorite part. and the 12 car pile-up. and the simpsons part. ok i just love it all!!! i give it a

I'm listening to this song, and just realized something. I've always assumed that the $5 that Bob owed Al came from the lunch that they recently ate together, but it's never said when the money was lent.

This is absolutely my song of the moment. I have it on my YouTube favorites, so I play it while checking email. I also like to play the "Al and Ben" alternative mix, just because I adore that crashing piano.
I adore Al. Biting social commentary portrayed humorously against great music. *happy sigh*

i find this song sad but there was a connection on that song i was watching the price is right and they interrupted the price is right for news about hurricanes but at least it wasn't the simpsons

I love this song... my mom and I have this weeird joke.... because the first time I played it for her, I told her that it was Ben Folds (Because she's a Ben Folds fan)
So the very next time we hear it (like, the next day, I was going thru a PH phase!) SHe asked me who it was on the piano, I told her it was Ben, and that I told her that yesterday...
Now every single time this song comes on, one of us goes up to the other and is all "guess what?!!? ITS BEN FOLDS ON THE PIANO!!!"
Every SINGLE time, and it never gets old!!!
Or like...
"Why are your shoes in the hall?"
"I dunno, but this (cue spongebob theme or any other random music playing in the backrgound) is NOT Ben Folds!!!"
... yeah... we're just random like that
