Whether you dismiss him as a novelty act or praise him as a smart satirist, there's no denying that Weird Al is always good for a laugh. And even for the jaded, there are quite a few laughs on his latest album. His song "Couch Potato" turns Eminem's "Lose Yourself" into a biting critique of television, "eBay" changes the Backstreet Boys' "I Want It That Way" into an ode to the addictive auction Website, and "The Trash Song" serves as his reworking of Nelly's "Hot in Herre" (it also makes a good argument for recycling). When he's done with the pop charts, he takes on bands like the Strokes, System of a Down and the Hives with the drinking song "Angry White Boy Polka." Totally weird, totally fun.
Final Grade- B
A positive review. Positive reviews are a good thing. He did misname Trash Day, but its still a positive review. Hee Hee.....drinking song.
