I doubt anything is going to happen. There would be outrage either way. If he removed it, you have fans saying "HOW DARE YOU REMOVE MY FAVORITE VIDEO AND GIVE INTO THE OUTRAGE", and if he keeps it up, you'll have a small portion saying "HOW DARE YOU STILL SUPPORT R KELLY THROUGH ROYALTIES FROM THIS SONG".

He hasn't performed this song live in quite a while, and I don't see it ever returning to the medley, so I think it's safe to say everything will stay just as it is with no further action needed.

The Simpsons executive producers just pulled Stark Raving Dad (which had guest voice Michael Jackson) from syndication, streaming, and claim it will be removed from any reprints of Season 3 on DVD. Makes me wonder if Al's management will have the same knee-jerk reaction to his Jackson or Kelly works......

...I'm out of the loop, I don't listen to the news/gossip... did something 'new' happen with Michael? I did google but didn't immediately see anything that seemed new.

...If something did, I still couldn't see Al not doing Fat. (As much as I wouldn't mind not having it/having a break from it live)

Again, with this and the R. Kelly situation, nothing is going to happen on Al's side of things. He's not gonna pull his parodies from streaming services, he's not going to stop performing Fat and Eat It live. If he were singing a song that glorified these artists, then sure, I could see him pulling them. But they are iconic parodies that have been completely stripped of their original context.

Don't forget that for the last several years, Eat It has been performed to the tune of Layla. Maybe he could do the same thing for Fat if he really wanted to keep performing it. It is getting a little awkward already!
