My sister is the same way. She cannot get a tan, unless it comes with a jolt of aerosol. I've always been a bit darker than her. My mother is very dark. Between my mother and sister, it's night and day. Now, she frequents tanning salons a lot.

Maybe it has to do with the lighting of a room or area that makes you look like an albino?
Aww thanks. :) And no, middle schoolers are just mean. Plus, we were learning about being albino...

Meli, you'd have to be blonde to be albino. Tell those kids that. Superior intelligence usually confuses the meaner kids for a while. And besides, what's so bad about being albino?

I have medium brown skin. My biological father was half cherokee, half irish. my mother also had some cherokee, some dutch, and a whole lot of irish. So....

I can't remember if I ever got called albino, but my hair's too dark for that, and I think my eyes are the wrong colour too. :P

My dad's English and my mum's parents were Scottish, so I credit my pale skin to that. :D

I have a friend who's albino and the pink eyes are a dead giveaway. And her hair is so white you could never even mistake it for blonde.

Laurel, you have the exact same ethnic background as me!

Kids at school used to call me a vampire because I was so pale. I think I'd rather be called an albino than a vampire.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

My sister (who really isn't related to me, but I call her my sister anyway) gets called vampire because she's so pale, too. I told her she was a Whte and Nerdy vampire, and got a mean look in return.
