What I want to find out is: can we line up the full audio and instrumental tracks together, invert the instrumentals so that they cancel out the music, leaving only the voices? Then, fans could make their own remixes! If I could ever get this done, there's all kind of fun stuff I could do! (especially with "White & Nerdy" and "I'll Sue Ya")

What would be a nice idea is if Al makes a competition out of it. SOL-mash-ups or even SOL-remixes?

That would be awesome! I love the instrumental mixes, but I sound off key with it when I'm on key without any music or with his voice. Its kinda weird.

On Audacity, you can make songs into instrumentals. It doesn't always work, and the sound quality often gets worse, but I tried it with YP and it sounded alright.

you can download "The Weird Al Ultamite Collection" from :censored: , its a collection with 266 rare Weird Al Demos/Live Preformances/TV preformances, all rolled up nicely into a 7 CD set. All the intstrumentals are there all ready to be put onto CDs and iPODs

Please do not post links to bootlegs on WOWAY.

Don't drop out of school kids. It makes you into a bootlegger with poor spelling.

I tried ripping the DVD and taking the sound out of the files, but it didn't work.

How do you make instrumentals in Audacity?
