hehe, just went to The Mothership! Woot! I love the sound effect of the 7 being pushed down to reveal a 6.

this splash page looks like it really could be a countdown, because of the way the 6 pushes the 7 down, like a counter, but I still think the release date is september, not 26 days from now

My mind is at ease... turns out I'll eventually be able to preorder it from amazon.com, and they'll ship it to my sister's place in NZ. It's still about a 2 week delay, but that's better than a month.

I still think Sept 19 would've been better for the "27" connection as 9+1+9+2+0+0+6=27, but it's probably not a Volcano release date.

That little noise scared me half to death...and I LOVED it. (Goes back to play it again).

There is hope in the world!!!

I just did some fancy counting (taking off my shoes and warming up the main frame), and the WAS DVD is being released in 26 days. Maybe he will be doing a public signing after all.

I need to re-schedule my dental appointment.

I saw it too , September 26th , and that week will be a heavy 1 than.

I don't think it was supposed to confuse one into thinking it's a countdown. I just think the animation movement was used to have both a 27 reference but also to sort of refer to the teaser from the first time, as if to say "27--well, okay this time we mean 26."

I reversed the sound and slowed it down and you can hear "weird al" :
