Spumco does some amazing work. A very classic and retro look to it. I can only wonder where it's going.

As for the gag being pitched, from the angle in the blog, I'd almost say it looks like a giant cartoon gator or monster of some sort.

Of course, it's just a guess.

Ryan, I'm not sure what happened with your closeup, but mine turned out not too pixelated.

Okay, it's not that clear. BUT, I think I can make out the words "Rockin' Out" or something vaguely similar. As for the creature thing, it looks like a hamster head to me...

Oh yeah, I succumbed to the spoiler forum. Come to think of it, even when WHiZZi made it I didn't really know why I was avoiding it.

It looks kinda like a chicken wing with a wine bottle with wings on it. Just my personal opinion.

As unlikely as it sounds, to me that thing looks like Stimpy!

He's from a cartoon that used to run on MTV called "Ren and Stimpy."

This is what Stimpy looks like:

I agree with mewrio. It looks like a hamster head to me, too. The rest of the pic looks like a cobblestone walk or something. But, that's just me.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

Actually, the show was originally aired on MTV. Then, it was moved to Nickelodeon after it was replaced with "Beavis and Butthead."

Nickelodeon aired it first.

John K. went to Nickelodeon in 1991 when they were looking for new shows (the other 2 they got during this year were Doug (later sold to Disney) and Rugrats).

The first 2 seasons of the show were done by John's team, called Spumco animation. After the episode "Man's Best Friend," Nick decided that was the final straw, and fired everyone who worked on it.

At that point, they took over the show for its last 2 seasons. A lot of fans think it went downhill after that.

MTV could've shown episodes of it at some point--both MTV and Nickelodeon are owned by Viacom. MTV has also been known to show episodes of Spongebob.

In 2002, TNN (now known as SpikeTV... this station is also owned by Viacom, so it was probably no problem) bought the rights to make new episodes of the show with John K (known as the Adult Party Cartoon version). Fans of the show believe these episodes are sick and disgusting--in a bad way. It was cancelled after its first season of this, and they only showed 5 episodes of it. The rest of the season will be released on DVD soon (or it may be out already, I dunno.)

Nickelodeon still has the rights to seasons 1-4 of the show, and it runs everyday on Nicktoons Network.

I'm a cartoon geek, I know everything.
