"Weird Al" Yankovic Masters in Surround at Bernie's
Hollywood, CA (May 17, 2006)--"Weird Al" Yankovic has mastered new tracks in 5.1 surround sound at Bernie Grundman Mastering Studios.

Yankovic's new songs are especially suited to exploring the full potential of the Surround Sound experience, as assorted instruments and sound effects travel throughout the entire 360-degree sonic panorama. The as-yet-untitled Way Moby/Volcano Records album features a wealth of Weird Al bonus material, and is scheduled for release later this year.

This is news to me. Looks like it'll be a very nice sounding cd! Thanks for the link, although those first few sentences from the editor weren't very nice. I don't think Al or Depeche Mode are hacks. :stern: Can't say for sure about Bjork. :P

Whoa. This album is gonna sound awesome!

If they've been mastered, that has to mean there's no 12th track (or that they decided to record one afterall and Bermuda hasn't told us)... I don't see how he could master 11 tracks, then go master one more later cause the mastering process is always done after the entire album is finished.

Wow, thanks for posting this! I agree with Patti, I bet the Mothership will be updated pretty soon...

Dave, that made me laugh really hard. :P Does it mean that even Al and TBITB don't know what it's called yet?

I was teasing. I actually kinda like her. I mentioned her I Miss You video in the discussion about the animated Kricfalusi video Al did, didn't I? ^_^

Anyway, back to Al. I think it's safe to assume that if the cd has been mastered, then it's done, like jace said.
