The DualDisc side usually has much more than just the 5.1 Surround Sound. On Songs for Silverman, in addition to having the songs in surround sound, it also includes a "Making of the Album" feature. Essentially, the possibilities are endless. Al could put a number of things on the DualDisc side.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

quick question, will i be able to play the 5.1 in my car, for example, or anywhere besides my surround sound system connected to my DVD player?

That is, unless you have a DVD player with surround sound in your car....

well, then what is the point of that? maybe others listen to CD's in their dvd player more...

The point is that it is there. If you get a chance to listen to it in 5.1 surround, it sounds great. If not, you can just listen to the CD side. Personally, I can't wait to try it out in surround.
