I mean, I suppose if he didn't like shortening it, he'd have done a parody of the Police's "Roxanne" called "Suzanne," but he probably does call her Sue or Suzi most of the time. Heck, "Karen" isn't very long, but my hubby nicknamed me "Kaz" because it's shorter.

I ALways wondered, when he recorded the demo at home and started yelling, "Sue! Sue!" did Suzanne come to the studio and say, "What?"
Praise AL!

Karen/Kaz

He probably calls her "Honey" most of the time. :inlove:

Besides, she might not like having her name shortened. Some people don't.
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

Well, he called her "Suzanne" on that Biography special. I also heard him call her "honey" during a radio interview. So, I think Helen is right.

:Y

Anyway, back to the song. I really like it. One of Al's rockingest songs since "Callin' in Sick".
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

I don't remember where I found the interview, ATY. But it has nothing to do with ISY.

I will agree that ISY is more rockin' than Callin' in Sick.

I'm not feeling this one too much. Usually just a skip song.

Now I duck as people throw things at me. :whoot: :oo
