Theory: the guy who founded Weasel Stomping Day is the main character from "Albuquerque" who wanted species-wide revenge (though a quick google search reveals I'm not the first person to propose this).
In seriousness, though, this is not one of my favorite songs. I just don't find animal abuse funny.
