Jim is Dead (joke)

Inspired by a post in the spoiler forum.
Similar to
Paul is Dead legend and
Bermuda is Dead website, let's come up with proof that Jim is dead.
1. Someone posing as Jim posted a picture on Twitter of a
car accident Jim was involved in. It's obvious something went through the front windshield and killed Jim.
2. Al no longer refers to him as Jim West at concerts. Instead he calls him by the nickname Jim Kimo West. Jim died and this Kimo fellow replaced him.
3. Even though the role called for a guitar player, Jim is not in the "Gump" video. Instead the part is played by the bass player Steve Jay. Jim died and they used a last minute replacement in the video.

Jim died in the year 2000 as a result of the new millenium. He was replaced by Danny Brant, who played a few dates as himself "subbing for Jim" until he got extreme plastic surgery to look like Jim and take his place permanently.

5. Jim is not credited with performing on any songs on the first album. This is because Jim died while they were recording the album and was replaced by Rick Derringer.
6. Jim had long hair in the early nineties. This is because Jim died and the actor hired to replace Jim had long hair and refused to cut it.

You forgot to mention in #5 that even though he was not credited with performing any of the songs, his name is still mentioned in the special thanks section of the album.

On the thirteenth page of the Alpocalypse booklet, "Jim" can be seen holding his head between his hands. Jim is the only one doing this. Why? Because Jim was decapitated.
Apparently Jim's a Boy Scout in the Order of the Arrow and "Nature Trail to Hell" is about a homicidal maniac who finds a Cub Scout troop and hacks up two ot three in every scene.

The person hired to replace Jim wears a swiss cheese hat while performing PTW in concert. The holes in the swiss cheese represent the holes left in the band when the original Jim died.

Where is the name Kimo from?
